Super Model Addison Shea

I know I am a bias Mother - but Addison is so stinkin' cute!!! Thanks a million to my neighbor Andrea for taking the pictures yesterday. You can click the link to her photography website "Precious Poses" on the upper right hand corner to see more of her work. These were taken for Addison's Dedication invitation that I am sending out to my family in the next week. My baby is growing up!! Enjoy~!

Whipped Cream Paintings

On Easter Addison worked on a couple whipped cream paintings to send to her Aunt Carla & Aunt Jessica as well as her Grandma in Illinois. It didn't turn out quite how we expected -so they will not be making the trip across the country - but its the thought that counts :) She had a better time eating it then actually painting with it!

Easter 2008

Easter at the Landgren household was very nice and quiet! The Easter Bunny came (actually he came 2 weeks earlier b/c I couldn't wait to give her the gifts ;) and Addison got a few nice things! She loves Elmo - so the bunny brought her a new Elmo book, an Elmo DVD about puppies & babies & her first Elmo doll. I have to say the Elmo DVD is VERY annoying, but Addy loves it! Her Grandma Maggie also brought over a big Easter basket filled with lots of good stuff including some fresh banana bread for her parents!! It was a great day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I am sorry it has been awhile since the last post. Since my last post thanking my parents for watching Addison we have had a lot going on. That Friday (2/29/08) Erik and I made the decision to pull her out of Parker Landing and put her into an in home daycare. Addison just hasn't been well, and we knew we had to make a change. I got the 6th call in 8 weeks to come get her and that was the final straw. Don't get me wrong - I have no problem going to get her, but the poor little girl has just been so sick. Since it was after hours I had to take her to urgent care - to which she was put BACK on a nebulizer and given antibiotics for bronchitis. I will miss Robin @ Parking Landing - but know that Addison will see her, as she babysits for us. Thankfully my Mother in Law flew to Denver on a moments notice and stayed for 2 weeks to watch Addison before she started in the new daycare. I am happy to say Addy is the healthiest she has been in MONTHS!!!
She started in-home daycare today with a lady I found through my church. She has 2 daughters of her own ages 31/2 & 6 months and watches 2 other little boys (3 1/2 & 18 months). I am hoping(& praying) in this environment Addison will get adequate sleep, stay healthy & thrive. I had quite a few reservations about in-home care... but I think this move is for the best.
As for Miss Addy Shea - she is doing really well! She is a little over 19lbs and growing so fast! She doesn't crawl quite yet - but rocks back and forth. She loves Raffi & Elmo and her Grandma Dana turned her on to the world of Clifford the Big Red Dog - and she seemed to love it. She thinks our dogs are hilarious - and now if you ask her "What are those dogs doing?" she just laughs and laughs. She is slowly learning to feed herself. Over the last couple weeks wants to eat everything Erik and I eat. She will raise her hands when you ask "How big are you" and is changing so much every day. Thanks so much to everyone that helped us through the last couple months watching her and helping get her through all her sickness. I think we have turned a corner!!

She loves to give kisses.
