Bathing the Turduckin.....

I have SO many pictures of Addison in the bath from the time she was super little up until now, and realized I *might* have one picture of Avery. Here are some recent pictures my little lady in the bath. JUST like her sister she LOVES bath time. She is starting to splash all around, and just smiles the whole time.

Visit with Jay & James

Erik's good friends Jay & James took a road trip to Colorado last weekend from Rockford, IL. Erik was so happy to see them and spend some time with his friends. They ended up going out Friday night, and then spent Saturday up in Estes Park. Addison thought both of the guys were great, and pretty much followed Jay around all weekend. Erik had her calling him "Jay-Bird", and she was connected to his hip while he was at the house. They had a great weekend. For Erik's 29th Birthday back in May - we got him tickets to 3 of the 4 Cubs games when Chicago came to town to play the Rockies in early August. Erik and I went to the 2nd game which was Saturday night - and after the Rockies beat Chicago in game 1 - we were looking for a better game! Luckily the Cubs won and we had a BLAST!! Our seats were super close as well. We were 12 rows up from the Cubs dugout between home plate & 3rd base. I would say the stadium was about 60% Cubs fans, and we had such a great time. Robin came to watch the girls and it was the first date for Erik and I alone since Miss Avery was born ;) The girls did wonderful and Addison was asking for "My Robin" on Sunday morning. This is Darrin - Erik's CBF (Cubbie Best Friend). Darrin is from New Mexico and has been a cubs fan since he was little. They bonded and pretty much talked Cubs stats the whole time.

My brother Craig & his girlfriend Leah were at the game as well - supporting the Rockies. We met up and bought them a drink.
