80 degrees & sunny

Well its supposed to be 80 & Sunny here today in good ole' Colorado. This picture was taken before we left the house this morning. I don't have much of an Addison update - she is starting to pull herself up, and wants to stand all the time (with help of course). She is still crawling after the dogs and pretty much wants to get into everything we don't want her too. I will have a better update in the next couple weeks! Her Great-Grandmother, Aunt Jessica, Aunt Carla & Uncle Cletus are all coming into town for her Dedication at church. It will be great to have everyone around and I will make sure to take a lot of pictures!

**Make sure to check out the new link on my page called Colorado to London. My Dad & Step-Mother are moving to London this summer, where my Dad will be working on the 2012 Olympics. I will miss them (as well as Tate & Jack) tremendously - but this is a great opportunity for them. That is their blog where they will post updates on their adventure across the Atlantic. Erik and I hope to get out to Europe soon to visit!

9 month check up.

Addison had her 9 month check up yesterday and here are the stats:
Weight - 19lbs 12.5oz (60%), Length 27" (25%), Head 43c (40%) & Iron Level 12.2 (normal 11-14). She is above average/advanced as far as developmental skills go, and was a total ham yesterday. Every time Dr. Stevens would try to talk to me - Addy would "yell" over her. It was actually pretty funny. Overall the appt went great - and hopefully Addison doesn't have to go back until her 1 year check up in July.

She started to pull herself up the other day, but can only get to her knees. She was crawling all over her PBK Chair, pulled herself up to her knees and did a face plant into the carpet :( I think she was more scared then anything. She is crawling all over the place and chasing the dogs the best she can. (They hate it!)
Here is the latest picture. She had just finished dinner - and I couldn't get her to sit still so I could clean her face so I stuck the bunny hat on her head. I thought it was funny so I took a picture. Amazingly enough - once the hat was on her head she sat still so I could clean her up :)

New Pictures

Here are some pictures from last week. Erik is already teaching Addison how to play basketball.

She shoots..........

She scores!!! (Look how proud her Dad is!)

Addison LOVES bath time. She is a little fish.

Trying to warm up!

This picture cracks me up - this is her "why are you still taking pictures of me?" look. I see it quite a bit ;)

All clean & ready for bed. Check out the book she is reading - GO CUBBIES!!!! :)

And we have a crawler!

Just wanted to update and let everyone know that Miss Addison Shea is now an official crawler!! She started really crawling and moving all around Friday night - and ever since then she is ALL OVER the place :) The days of leaving the dog food on the floor are long gone. She is much happier now that she can move and chase the dogs around! She cannot go from the crawling position, back to sitting.. so that frustrates her. It will just be a matter of time before she gets that down.

Other then that - I am happy to report the new at home daycare situation is REALLY working out. She does have a slight cold - but she is napping better, eating better and overall a much happier baby. She adores the 3 year olds and they can keep her entertained for hours. Gianna is so sweet with her and is always trying to hug her goodbye and give her kisses. Erik and I are really happy we decided to move her to Barb's house.

Addison's Dedication @ church is May 11, 2008. I feel very blessed to have found a church where we feel welcome, and somewhere that I feel will help my child develop a relationship with Jesus. Its a huge church, but they have a lot of small groups which helps you connect on a more personal basis. Once Addison is a little older she will start attending Sunday school - and I pray that she loves it and grows with the church.

On a final note - Congrats to Erik's good friend John & his wife Mallie on the birth of their son Oakley Jackson S****

He was born 3/28/08 at 4:47am, 8lbs 7oz. Congrats to their family!!
