Professional pictures done May 2, 2009 taken by Precious Poses by Andrea Janke.

A big thanks to my neighbor & prof. photographer Andrea Janke who took these pictures for us when we brought Avery home from the hospital. Avery was 5 days old, and Addison is now 22 months old :) She did an awesome job! I am so thankful for these newborn photos. She also did some of Addison and its AMAZING how fast they grow up! Enjoy!

My new favorite picture

I know I am a bias mother - but gosh they are cute!!

Avery's Dedication

Avery was dedicated at our Church http://www.sechristian.org/ on May 11, 2009. It was a nice service and there were SO many babies that were being dedicated! Here are a couple pictures from that day...
I love this dress! This is what Addison wore to Jessica & Mike's rehearsal dinner back in Aug 2007. I am so happy I got to use it again! This was taken before we left for the Dedication.

Finally some pictures...

Sorry for the delay - honestly the lack of sleep has taken over and I keep trying to nap instead of posting pictures of my new little lady. I did post some on facebook... so I am sure some of you have seen those. Avery is doing really well. She wakes up ON THE DOT at 3 hours to eat. So much for that "natural 5-6 hour sleep time" the nurse said newborns have. NOT this newborn. So I am only getting about 2 hour intervals of sleep.. and as of yesterday it started taking its toll. Being home with the girls is nice. Addison has been very good - and she has even started telling us she has to go potty - and actually going!! This is HUGE!! My mother in law said this is her way of taking attention back from the baby :) No complaints here. She is going about 50% of the time - which I am very proud of her. Once I start getting a little more sleep I will work on getting her 100% trained, apparently she is ready. Here are some pictures from Avery's first few days of life.

Addy meeting her little sister for the first time. This was April 30, 2009.

She had NO interest in holding her though :)

Erik with his girls. This is Addison's "BIG" smile for the camera.

Me with my little ladies.

Avery looks just like Erik did when he was born! I should scan a baby picture I have of him for comparison.

My sweet, mellow little girl.
Thanks to my Aunt Amy & Uncle Brad for this super cute outfit. It says "Little Sister" on the front and this is what Miss Avery wore home from the hospital last Friday. The outfit is ADORABLE.

Here is my Mother in Law Dana. This picture cracks me up - she has so much patience with the dogs. They all wanted to sit with her all the time. Dana came in from Illinois for Avery's arrival and stayed at the house with Addison and the dogs. It was wonderful to have her in town.

My 2 wonderful girls - I am so blessed.

Uncle Craig came over to take Avery, Addison and I to Avery's 2 day check up (since I cannot drive yet). He was a huge help and kept Addison busy while I talked to the doctor. He also helped get the girls in & out of their car seats. I don't know what I would have done without him. Here he is with his nieces.

She's HERE!!

Avery Sophia Frances Landgren was born on Tuesday - April 28, 2009 @ 8:39am. She was 8 lbs 7 oz, 20.5 inches long. She has strawberry blond hair and if I do say so myself- is ADORABLE!!! Pictures to come soon - I am trying to find my camera cord.

The C-Section went well, and except for the fact the drugs they give you made me get sick as well as feel SUPER itchy for about 24 hours - I have no complaints!! The nurses were wonderful, and Erik and I brought Miss Avery home yesterday around 12:30pm.

Addison has taken well to her little sister. She will give the baby kisses and is always trying to give her this little lamb that used to be hers. I missed Addy SO MUCH while we were in the hospital. My Mother in Law, Dana came in from Illinois to see the baby and stayed with Addison and they had a blast together. We don't get to see Dana often - so it was nice they had some Grandma-Granddaughter time ;)

We had prof. pictures done today and I should have those soon and will post them. We are also getting her announcements done sometime this week.

OH- if you are wondering why she has 2 middle names -we decided to add Frances as a second middle name to honor my Grandfather Frank who is currently battling Cancer for the second time. He has always been a big part of my life, and I wanted him to know how much he means to me.

MORE TO COME......
