I am going to have a niece!!!

I am so excited to report that my Sister in Law & Brother in Law found out today that they are going to have a little GIRL!!!!!! I am so excited for them! They are naming her Riley Alexa P...... and she is due Jan 13, 2009. They are beyond excited to be adding to their family. My brother in law has an 11 year old son C.J. (who I adore). I am sure C.J. will be excited to add a little sister to the mix!!

Congrats Carla & Cletus we are so HAPPY for you! Girls are so much fun!

My friend's daughter Ariana

I just got a cute picture of my friend Jenn's daughter Ariana, and I wanted to share it here. I blogged a couple weeks ago about her birth - and here she is at 2 weeks. TALK about a CUTIE!!! Erik and I hope to "meet" Ariana in the next couple weeks.

Pop-Pop's back in town!

My Dad is back in town for a short stay and we got to see him last night. It was a great visit. Lorie, Dad, Tate, Jack, Craig & Craig's GF Leah all came over for pizza and a mini impromptu 52nd b-day for my Dad. He leaves next week to go back to Abu Dhabi, but should be back the end of September to move the kids & Lorie out. They are moving to Dubai for a year or so in October. We will miss them very much, but this is a great opportunity for my Dad. They plan on living on the Palm-Dubai, and my Dad will have a driver that will take him to Abu Dhabi every day. Dubai looks like a gorgeous place - and I am sure it will be a great learning experience for the kiddos.
Addison LOVES her Pop-Pop. She kept crawling over to him and wanted him to pick her up so she could sit on his lap.

I got her this outfit the other week, and I love it. I had to give her a sippy cup to get her to sit still so I could take her picture.

Addison's First Trip to the Zoo & a picture of her friend Peyton

We took Miss Addison to the Denver Zoo last Saturday. She had a really good time, and was a trooper. I think her Dad liked the Zoo better then she did. She was more interested in "talking" to all the kids there. Addy did enjoy the sea lion show and we look forward to taking her back next summer.

She was looking at the hyenas and laughing at them. I thought they were super creepy.. she just thought they were funny. Its hard to try to get a picture of her w/o her hands in her mouth these days *HOPEFULLY she is teething. She is almost 13 months old and still NO teeth!

Jacob, Erik's best friend was in town last weekend and here is Erik, Jake & Jake's 5 month old son Peyton. Peyton was one of the happiest babies I have ever seen. TOTALLY adorable! We wish Jake, Holli & Peyton lived closer so we could see them more often.

Friends New Baby Annoucements...

Just a quick shout out to a couple friends who had babies in the past week...


My good friend Jenn - welcomed little Ariana Charlene S..... into the world on July 23 @ 12:39pm. 7 lbs 7 oz, 19 inches long. She joins big sisters Paris, Alexis & big brother Tony. I will post pictures once I get one! Congrats to Jenn & Vince - the name Ariana is SO pretty!!



Erik's good friend Isaiah now has a baby girl!! Erik doesn't remember the exact stats (shocking) but I didn't want to leave this little one out. Erik *thinks she was 7 lbs, 15oz - 20 " long and she was born July 30, 2008. **UPDATE - this little lady now has a name - Rylynn Phoenix :) . Congrats to Isaiah on becoming a Daddy!!
